Ginseng is traditionally used as a herb to increase energy and vitality. Studies suggest that to achieve this a minimum of 5mg per day of the active ingredient Ginsenoside needs to be taken, and a minimum of 2 months allowed for the effects to be observed. 
 
This one-a-day tablet provides 3.2mg of Ginsenosides from 800mg of dried root, and as such is unlikely to deliver the benefits of Ginseng supplementation unless an extended period of supplementation is undertaken.
