Ginseng is traditionally used as a herb to increase energy and vitality. Studies suggest that to achieve this a minimum of 5mg per day of the active ingredient Ginsenoside needs to be taken, and a minimum of 2 months allowed for the effects to be observed. 

 

This one-a-day tablet is stated to provide 30mg of Ginsenosides from 1000mg of dried root, and as such should deliver the intended benefits of ginseng supplementation. This product appears to be considerably more concentrated than others assessed, and so is likely to deliver benefits in a shorter time period.
