Both Glucosamine and Chondroitin have substantial evidence of benefits in joint health, particularly when taken in combination. The expected benefits include improved flexibility and mobility as well as reduced stiffness of joints. From the studies carried out the amounts required to produce the expected benefits are 1500mg Glucosamine Sulphate or Hydrochloride together with 1200mg Chondroitin Sulphate. Expect to see noticable benefits within about 12 weeks of supplementation at this level. 

This product provides 50% of the recommended daily level of Glucosamine and a relatively high 800mg Chondroitin at the dosage of two tablets per day. As such, an extended period of supplementation may be necessary to deliver longer term benefits. The product is quite good value.
