Higher levels of vitamin K have been linked to improved bone health in healthy children and in children with juvenile arthritis.
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis affects 1 in 1000 children in the UK according to the UCL Institute of Child Health, and in the long term these children may benefit from such positive research.
This is not the first time that vitamin K has been linked to bone health and this study, which was published in the Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology,only adds to the debate.
