Omega 3 equals an active brain
25 July 2008

Omega 3 could help maintain basic brain function and even ward off dementia.

One recent trial involving individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and individuals with ‘mild cognitive impairment’ showed that those who took omega 3 showed more improvement in their brain function that those who did not.

The results of this test were hampered in many ways and more trials need to be undertaken, however, the results were encouraging.
