Omega 3 linked to healthy hearts
05 August 2008

Higher intake of fish rich in omega 3 may explain lower levels of heart disease in certain cultures.

In a recent study which compared the diet and heart health of the Japanese, American Japanese and white Americans, the Japanese were found to have much higher levels of omega 3 and subsequently healthier hearts.

The study, published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, adds to an established body of science supporting the cardiovascular benefits of omega 3.
