This product provides 11 out of 12 of the essential vitamins at equal or above 100% RDA. Folic Acid at 350% RDA and the omission of Vitamin A are compliant with government guidelines for pregnancy.

The minerals are less consistent, however, with the total omission of Iodine and provision of Zinc at just 50% RDA, despite the fact that both of these minerals are essential during pregnancy.

Unlike other products, this does not include minerals such as Vitamin K and Selenium, despite these also being relevant during pregnancy.

Overall, the vitamin component of this product is likely to deliver the full benefits associated with regular supplementation during pregnancy, but it is less likely to deliver the full range of benefits expected from full spectrum mineral supplementation.
