Combinations of multivitamin and mineral products with probiotics are designed to provide the benefits of a multivitamin and mineral and a probiotic with the convenience of one product.
This product provides 100% RDA of all 12 essential vitamins, but contains less than 100% RDA of the minerals Iron, Zinc and Iodine. It provides acceptable levels of Calcium and Magnesium for a one-a-day tablet of this type, and also contains trace minerals. As such, this product is likely to deliver all of the benefits associated with daily vitamin supplementation and some of the benefits associated with mineral supplementation.
The level of probiotic bacteria is 10 million per one-a-day tablet, which is below the SC benchmark of 1 billion. As such, this product is unlikely to deliver the expected benefits associated with supplementation of probiotic bacteria.
