The St Johns Wort plant has been used traditionally to help relieve depression for hundreds of years. Numerous scientific studies have now confirmed that this herb is effective in helping relieve mild to moderate depressive symptoms. The minimum effective dose required is about 300mg of St Johns Wort extract which, contains between 900-1000mcg of the active ingredient Hypericin. This is normally quoted on the pack.

Each one-a-day tablet of this product contains 1000mcg of Hypericin, and as such should deliver the intended benefit of helping to relieve depressive symptoms. Allow about 12 weeks of supplementation to observe these benefits.
