Vitamin C is one of the vitamins for which research suggests that optimum benefits lie in intake greater than 100% RDA; in particular, Vitamin C is beneficial to the immune system. As such, Vitamin C supplements usually provide amounts ranging from 60mg to 1000mg.

This product contains 200mg Vitamin C in a standard tablet form. As such, the recommended dose of one tablet per day would be expected to deliver the benefits associated with a moderately increased intake of Vitamin C. The intermediate dosage of this product makes it expensive if high doses of Vitamin C are required.
