Vitamin C is one of the vitamins where research suggests that optimum benefits lie in intake greater than 100% RDA; in particular, Vitamin C is beneficial to the immune system. As such, Vitamin C supplements usually provide amounts ranging from 60mg to 1000mg.

This product contains 100mg of Vitamin C in a normal tablet form. The low potency of this product at the advised dosage means that it is unlikely to deliver the benefits associated with moderate or high intakes of Vitamin C. Overall, the level of Vitamin C contained in this product is only marginally higher than that found in a standard multivitamin. It would probably be better value to buy a good multivitamin despite the relatively low cost of the product. This product is suitable for children.
