Vitamin E functions as an antioxidant that neutralises the damaging ‘free radicals’ produced in our cell membranes and fatty tissues. Much research indicates that high levels of Vitamin E (50mg-300mg) are valuable in maintaining general health and heart health (particularly in individuals at higher risk).
