Value for moneyVitamin E functions as an antioxidant that neutralises the damaging ‘free radicals’ produced in our cell membranes and fatty tissues. Much research indicates that high levels of Vitamin E (50mg-300mg) are valuable in maintaining general health and heart health (particularly in individuals at higher risk). Other experts disagree with this view.
Products which contain ‘natural’ Vitamin E have approximately 50% more bioavailability than synthetic Vitamin E. The assessment of Vitamin E products is based upon actual levels of bioavailability. This product contains 167mg Vitamin E in synthetic form, equivalent to 111mg natural Vitamin E (1111% RDA) and, as such, should deliver the benefits associated with high levels of Vitamin E intake.
